The Muslim Jewish Forum of Greater Manchester held its 5th AGM at the Cheetham Hill Cricket Club. It was well attended by both Muslims and Jews. Co-chair Jonny Wineberg reported on all the events which the Forum had held over the past year, which averaged over one event per month. He thanked everyone for their support. Co-chair Cllr Afzal Khan and secretary Heather Fletcher announced future events including a trip to Jerusalem, planned events with David Miliband and Baroness Warsi, a women's wvent and a lawyers event. The current executive committee members were re-elected and a further member, Dr. Jacqueline Lewis was voted on to the committee.
