In total, 21 people of all ages attended the end of summer picnic organised by the Muslim Jewish Forum. The attendees included two month old Emma Fyne, who became the youngest ever person to attend a Forum Event. She is the daughter of Martyn and Ori Fyne. Her father,Martyn has been attending Forum Events since its initial meeting seven years ago at the Manchester Town Hall.
The attendees included Muslims, Jewish people, Hindu and Sikhs. They enjoyed a very sociable lunchtime and particularly enjoyed home made spicy rice made by Qaisra Shahraz and home made chocolate cakes.
Heather Fletcher, Secretary of the Muslim Jewish Forum stated "At long last we managed to hold an Inter Faith picnic in dry sunny weather,so it shows that if you do not give up then things come right in the end ! There was a wonderful mix of age groups and faiths all bound together by food, chat and sunny weather !"
